* Children’s church and childcare are available on Sundays beginning at 9:00 am. Please arrive early to sign your child in as space is limited. Please sign out your child promptly after service is dismissed.

Ignite Youth Ministries (IYM) aspires to develop children and teens who are deliberate and intentional in their faith and love God with all their heart, mind, body, and soul. Every child and teen student will be equipped with the resources necessary to: enter young adulthood with confidence and assurance and live as disciples of Jesus Christ by realizing their full potential and making contributions to advance the Kingdom of God. IYM further seeks to plant and water seeds of faith in our children by teaching the Word of God and demonstrating the Love of God, to serve as kindling to inspire and encourage them to be on fire for God!

VBS
Vacation Bible School (VBS) creates an exciting, fun-filled, yet purposeful opportunity for the children and teens of LCF and our surrounding community to learn about God and to build lasting relationships with our community and each other. VBS incorporates Bible lessons, age-based activities, songs, arts, and crafts. Our goal is to empower children and teens, our future leaders, to walk by faith and not by sight in every situation; through every trial and every area of their lives.
Helping students learn to love Jesus and make Him their highest priority happens one student at a time! Students do not connect to programs, they connect to people. Programs have their place and are a necessary part of what we do, but long-lasting change happens in life-on-life relationships. The IYM Team is comprised of leaders and teachers who:

Love God and let Him live through them

Show genuine interest in the lives of the students

Know how to be a leader, not a peer

Pray for and with students during each class period
-
Consistently use encouraging words and speak life-giving, uplifting words with them

Believe in and encourage students—even when they make mistakes
