Living By The Ones is our 2026 Teaching and Preaching focus at Life-Changing Faith. It is a simple, Scripture-anchored pathway for living an ALL-IN life of devotion to Jesus, His Word, and His Church.
Rather than adding more religious activity, Living By The Ones calls us to faithful consistency. Each “One” represents a clear, biblical commitment that shapes how we pray, worship, grow, give, serve, and invite others into the life Christ offers. These practices are not about perfection, but about direction. They help move our faith from intention to action, from emotion to obedience.
At its heart, Living By The Ones is about our relationship with Jesus, followers of Christ, and the community in which we live and work. As we commit to praying together and privately, gathering for worship, growing in God’s Word, living in community, serving faithfully, giving generously, expressing daily gratitude, and inviting others to encounter Jesus with us, our faith is practiced, strengthened, and lived out. These “Ones” help to align our lives with the way Jesus Himself lived and taught.
In 2026, we will teach, preach, and live these commitments together, trusting God to use simple obedience to produce deep spiritual growth. Our prayer is that every person at Life-Changing Faith, both locally and online, would grow more rooted in Christ, more connected to one another, and more engaged in God’s mission by faithfully Living By The Ones.
1. CORPORATE PRAYER
PRAY CORPORATELY AT LEAST ONCE PER WEEK
Anchor Verse:
“These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.” - Acts 1:14, NASB
Description:
Being ALL-IN means praying with others as part of the body of Christ. ONE commitment to corporate prayer each week deepens our unity with other believers and our dependence on God together.
2. PRIVATE PRAYER
PRAY PRIVATELY AT LEAST ONCE PER WEEK
Anchor Verse:
“But when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.” - Matthew 6:6, NASB
Description:
An ALL-IN life includes quiet moments with God. ONE private time of prayer each week develops spiritual intimacy and keeps our hearts aligned with God's will.
3. THANKFULNESS
THANK GOD AT LEAST ONCE PER DAY
Anchor Verse:
“In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18, NASB
Description:
To be ALL-IN is to live gratefully every day. Expressing thanks to God at least ONCE daily strengthens our joy, wounds any growing sense of entitlement, and reminds us of His constant goodness.
4. WORSHIP
ATTEND ONE WORSHIP SERVICE AT LCF PER WEEK

“...not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another...” - Hebrews 10:25, NASB
Description:
Worshipping together keeps us connected to Christ and His people. ONE worship service per week keeps us ALL-IN with the community of faith at LCF and reminds us of God's greatness.
5. INVITATION
INVITE AT LEAST ONE PERSON / FAMILY PER WEEK TO WORSHIP WITH YOU
Anchor Verse:
“And the master said to the slave, ‘Go out into the roads and the hedges, and press upon them to come in, so that my house may be filled.’” - Luke 14:23, NASB
Description:
Being ALL-IN includes helping others experience Jesus. ONE weekly invitation, to join you at Church, is a simple, powerful way to expand God’s kingdom and grow in boldness.
6. Small Group
FAITHFULLY PARTICIPATE IN ONE SMALL GROUP
Anchor Verse:
“Every day they continued to meet together... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” - Acts 2:46, NASB
Description:
Participating in ONE small group provides space to share, grow, and be known at a greater level of intimacy than Sanctuary time can achieve. An ALL-IN disciple doesn’t go it alone but commits to spiritual growth in community.
7. Ministry
FAITHFULLY SERVE IN AT LEAST ONE MINISTRY
Anchor Verse:
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” - Mark 10:45, NASB
Description:
To be ALL-IN is to serve like Jesus. Faithfully committing to ONE ministry lets you activate your faith and participate in God’s work in the world.
8. Financial Giving
GIVE FINANCIALLY ONCE PER WEEK
Anchor Verse:
“On the first day of every week, each of you is to put aside and save as he may prosper, so that no collections need to be made when I come.” - 1 Corinthians 16:2, NASB
Description:
ALL-IN believers trust God with their finances. Giving at least ONCE per week (or per month) honors Him and fuels ministry that changes lives.
9. PRIVATE BIBLE STUDY
STUDY THE BIBLE PRIVATELY AT LEAST ONCE PER WEEK

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” - Psalm 119:105, NASB
Description:
ONE private Bible study each week grows your personal understanding of God’s heart. An ALL-IN life is rooted in God’s Word.
10. GROUP BIBLE STUDY
STUDY THE BIBLE CORPORATELY ONCE PER WEEK
Anchor Verse:
“They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching...” - Acts 2:42, NASB
Description:
When we open the Word together, we sharpen and encourage one another. ALL-IN believers should commit to at least ONE shared learning moment every week in addition to the Sanctuary service.
