What To Expect at LCF

We are pleased you are considering joining us for a worship service or other special occasion. We have provided this information because we know it’s easier to visit a new place when you know what to expect.

What time does your Sunday worship service begin?

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:30am.

What are the worship services like?

Our services represent a combination of the familiar elements of worship and contemporary music and ministry. Our praise team sing a collection of traditional hymns and modern christian music. There’s something for everyone to enjoy during our services.

Our 10:30am service generally lasts about 2 hours.  First Sundays are longer due to our observation of Communion.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable at our worship services. Typically members and visitors wear their Sunday best; members of the ministerial staff dress conservatively, as do many officers of the church. Others dress more casually, but always respectfully. Just come as you are — we’re sure you’ll fit in!

Where should I park?

In addition to our church parking lot, parking is also available at no cost in a surface lot behind the church; you may enter this lot from 7th Street.

We caution you to obey all parking signs located around the church property as violators are subject to towing.

Regardless of where you park, we ask that you enter the church from the front (7th Street).

Where do my children go during worship services?

During each Sunday worship service, we invite all children (ages 0 to 18) to the youth and young adult wing of the building where age appropriate curriculum, arts and crafts, and Biblical instruction is provided for the children.

Can I meet the pastor?

Senior Pastor Dono Pelham and the First Lady of the church, Sis. Angelia Pelham, are available in the vestibule after worship service each Sunday. If you exit the church through the center doors, you will see them there. We welcome you to introduce yourself to them as you leave. Pastor Pelham also make himself available in the First Touch Classroom, a meeting that occurs after service where our first time guests are introduced to the senior leadership at the church and are given the opportunity to introduce themselves and ask questions.

Do you acknowledge visitors to the church?

We publicly recognize visitors during a portion of our service. At Life Changing Faith we have two things to offer; The Love of God and the Word of God.  We use a portion of our worship service to greet all first time guests and allow our members to warmly fellowship with one another.
