New Members

This ministry will be the focal point of the church-wide effort of integrating new members into the Life-Changing Faith church family with intense follow-up so as to retain, engage, and encourage new members. This ministry will coordinate services such as:
1. New member L.I.F.E. classes (Learning, Information, Fellowship and Engagement).
2. New member dinners / gatherings.
3. Church-wide Ministry Expo for new and existing members, to encourage ministry
awareness and involvement.
4. Regular new member contact, follow-up and encouragement.
5. Formal pairing of a new member with an existing member for 6 months.
The New Member Integration Ministry (NMIM) offers new members' L.I.F.E. classes that are held once per month. Each L.I.F.E. class is a one-time class that usually takes place on a Saturday morning from 8am - 12:30pm. L.I.F.E. classes are well-structured, exciting and informative meetings designed to accomplish the following:
L = Learn - Each new member to Life-Changing Faith will learn about their church. In the L.I.F.E. class you will learn about the church's mission, goals, vision, beliefs, leaders and much more. You will know what you are now a part of.
I = Information - Each new member will have an opportunity to get their questions answered. Information ranging from how Life-Changing Faith began to Bible theology of what a church really is will be discussed and explored.
F = Fun - Christianity is not boring! We will have fun in L.I.F.E. class. We will laugh, we will smile, and we will enjoy God and enjoy learning about the church, ourselves and each other.
E - Engaging - L.I.F.E. class will also enable you to better understand how God "wired" you and where you naturally fit in ministry. Through the use of tools such as Spiritual Gifts Assessments - together we will explore how God designed you and what areas of church ministry He specifically made you for.
L.I.F.E. class will serve as a helpful tool to make church and ministry work more satisfying for you and beneficial to God's kingdom. The L.I.F.E. classes offered by the New Member Integration Ministry are not just a new-members' "box" to check. You will be introduced to your new church in a powerful and informative way. L.I.F.E. class will set the stage for you to have a well-understood, active and fulfilling membership at Life-Changing Faith. L.I.F.E. classes are based on Rick Warren's new member CLASS series.
