Marriage Ministry
Just as the atom is the basic building block of all physical matter - so is the Christian Marriage the basic building block of a Christian society.
Hebrews 13:4 teaches us that marriage is to be held in honor by all. Marriage is between a man and a woman and marriage is Holy. The Life-Changing Marriage Ministry will teach couples of all ages to learn about, live and celebrate marriage the way God ordained marriage. Our approach to marriage ministry is that consistent maintenance can help to avoid major costly repairs.
Together, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will develop an atmosphere of trust and openness; an atmosphere where we can be free and feel safe to honestly talk about marriage. We will learn from the Word of God how to make our marriages stronger, happier and more fulfilling to the point where divorce simply will not be of interest.
In the context of a loving Christian community, we will study God's Word about marriage and learn from each other's experiences - all with the goal of having and maintaining the kind of marriage you can't wait to come home to.
Pastor Dono and his wife Angelia Pelham will lead this ministry. They have been married for over 18 years and have formally taught God's Word on marriage since 1996. They have conducted numerous marriage classes and retreats in Florida and Texas, conducted a weekly radio program on marriage in Florida for over a year and have recorded over 21 different marriage topics on teaching CD's.
The Life-Changing Marriage Ministry will take place in various forums to include marriage retreats, marriage classes, marriage cruises, an annual formal renewal of vows ceremony, and other marriage events all designed to strengthen and celebrate Holy Matrimony.
