Through The Bible in One Year

On Wednesday, May 15th, our Bible class called “Through the Bible in One Year”, which focuses on all Sixty Six Books of the Bible will start at 7pm. This class will be taught by Associate Pastor Richard Baker and will be located in the Green Room on the 2nd floor. Come study, learn, and interact as we unfold God’s Word pertaining to the knowledge and wisdom of the Bible.

Tell Somebody!

Learn how to Go out and Tell Somebody by becoming a Contagious Christian! This class teaches you how to effectively share your witness. The classes are held on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Wednesday of each month at 7pm. Our next class will be on May 15, 2013.

Pastor Erick D. Matthews Sr is known nationwide as a phenomenal gospel recording artist; but he certainly brings more to the table than gifts to sing, compose and produce music. In 1995, Pastor Erick publicly accepted his call to the ministry under the leadership of his father, Bishop Joseph Matthews (The Way of the Lord Ministries). Although preaching and teaching before that time, he felt the leading of the Holy Ghost to publicly accept the calling upon his life. After two years of preaching and teaching the Word of GOD, Minister Matthews then was ordained as an Elder in 1997. Knowing then that there was a call on his life to pastor, he began to pray to the Lord as to when he would start; and eleven years later, he and his wife (Pastor Nicole) launched Word Worship Center on Sunday, September 4, 2011.

The Fundamentals of Christianity is a certified in-depth study of God’s Word. It is a weekly course that is designed to help mentor the Christian who asks, “Now I believe, what’s next.” Its structure will spark the interest of the new believer, as well as the believer who is seeking spiritual maturity in the knowledge of God’s Word. The Fundamentals of Christianity study is designed to be the catalyst to future growth and development of a believer who can now share his/her belief with the world. This bible study starts at 7pm every 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th, Wednesday.

S.T.S. Ministry’s “Seeds For Needs” Campaign

The Outreach Ministry (Streets To Salvation) has kicked off its “Seeds For Needs” campaign. The donations received will be used to provide emergency food, clothing and hygiene products for members of our congregation as well as our community. Our community target is Budget Suites at the intersection of Paige St. and 121 in The Colony. There are approximately 150 families living there who need our help. You can partner with us by committing to donate $5 or more each month and by donating from the needed items list. “Commemorative Brick Program” – A Lasting Way to Honor a Loved One and Support Your Church

After many requests, our Commemorative Brick Program is back! If you’d like to receive a personalized engraved brick to permanently honor your family or the memory of a loved one, please make a donation of $250 for a 4×8 brick or $500 for a 8×8 brick. The bricks will be placed in the church’s new Courtyard next to Main Street entrance. LCF – Soul Food Sunday

Life Changing Faith will host Soul Food Sunday on August 26, 2012 after 2^nd Service. It will be held at the Boys and Girls Club located at 8759 McKinney Rd #100 in Frisco. Soul Food Sunday focuses on feeding the soul during our regular Sunday worship service and then feasting on soul food for our physical body after service. There will be a small donation of 10.00 per each adult and all kids will eat free. Please sign up after service. Someone in the First Touch Ministry will be available to receive your donation.
